Wilder ridge farm ~ EAST Lyme, CT

Our Story

The venture down this path started more than a decade ago when a young couple shared a passion for growing vegetables and fruits, preserving our yields, and constantly expanding our knowledge into sustainable agriculture. Flash forward to present and now that same dream has been shared with two new additions to the family who both show the same wonder and excitement for ag life as their parents. We decided to make our dream a reality and began building our small farm in Southeastern CT. Our goal is to implement a permaculture-based farming style where every plant we strategically put in the ground will provide a role in the well-being of our land as well as provide an abundance of food for ourselves and community. We also wish to start instructional hands-on classes on various homesteading methods such as fruit tree grafting, plant/tree propagation, maple syrup making, etc... We hope our knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm in this work will make Wilder Ridge Farm a staple for organically produced fruit and vegetables and enlightening experiences in the Southeastern CT community for years to come.
